Food Standards Scotland & Covid-19

One of the key points highlighted by Food Standards Scotland and Covid -19 says workers should follow protocols:

"Risk from infected food handlers– evidence suggest the main mechanism of transmission is considered to be human to human. All food workers should ensure the necessary personal and environmental controls are in place to prevent the transmission of pathogens through food, food preparation surfaces or food packaging, in line with their business ’HACCP.

HACCP? Does you coffee supply company have this Food Standards procedure in place? Can the truly identify their supply down to individual workers and on a daily basis?

Do they make the reports available with the evidence of working conditions?

Have you asked?

NOT 1 BEAN have such procedures in place with full transparent QA/QC working methods so you as a business can identify your supply chain from start to finish ensuring all possible means of cross contamination have been eliminated.

Food Standard Agencies also say any potential viruses are killed off through the cooking process which is why NOT 1 BEAN roast the product before it leaves the producing country eliminating any potential virus contamination.
