The organization is formed by a group of small producers in the municipality of Inza Cauca with a number of 80 producers of which 12 are women and the remaining 68 men. The area is rich in minerals which makes it rich in nutrients for coffee production, the farms of the organization are located at altitudes ranging from 1500 MSNM to 2200 MSNM. The total area covered by the association covers an average of 217 hectares in production.
The associative group is born by the necessity that has had the region to look for a market for the grain since this zone is also recognized by its quality, cup and a fair market for the greater economic activity of the region coming out of economic crises of the grain, the associative group has already worked several years in quality and processes of clean agriculture.
The initiative to become certified comes from the awareness that coffee is a food and that we must resume at the beginning of our ancestors a clean and environmentally sustainable production, in addition to the fact that the families that make up the group do not have the economic capacity to sustain their crops with products that are purchased in the market for high values.
