The association was born from the discontent of peasants who had to sell their main product at a low cost, generating losses. With the project of a fairer trade and seeking to improve the quality of life of many families of coffee growers, 10 peasant entrepreneurs from Planadas created Asoprocafees in 2014.
The idea was joined by 20 more peasants forming a total of 30 associates with whom this great socioeconomic improvement project was set in motion.
Currently the group is made up of 58 coffee growers committed to quality and sustainable production.
