ASPROTIMANA’s associates are small coffee growers, who depend economically on the activities generated on the coffee farm. Their experience in this work is reflected through more than thirty years of work, which today allows them to have potentially of more than three hundred (300) hectares of crops sustaining production of more than one thousand (1,000) tons of dry parchment coffee per year. The unparalleled quality of the coffee of ASPROTIMANA producers has allowed it to obtain recognition for its participation in competitions such as the Rainforest Colombia Sustainable Coffee Competition in 2009, the Alternative Development Coffee Competition 2009, the Excellence Rate Competition 2011 and 2013 and recognition by the international magazine Consumer Reports as the third best coffee in price and quality in specialty stores in the United States.
