The association was born from a project developed with the Projericó Foundation, which seeks to create new marketing channels for producers in the region, including small producers of Antioquia’s coffee tradition; some of them belonged to the Nespresso cluster a few years ago. One of the most important characteristics of this coffee is the height at which the crops grow, Jericho and the farms are over 1,900 meters above sea level; giving the coffee a very good profile in acidity and body, with notes towards red fruits. The association was formed in 2019 with the support of Mastercol, with whom they have already developed quality tastings and workshops. The coffee of this association is full of magic and stories. Its name is a tribute to the “”Arrieros”” who are the great founders of the coffee culture in Colombia and the “”Carriel”” which is an object of use by farmers, traditional and full of idiosyncrasy.
